     Noticed my J2534 runs real hot when im scanning a vehicle, running graphing mode, etc . How hot does youre device run?

    Hello.
    Is it very hot? 
    Hmmmm, if you have one more Maxisys Pro, you can make a comparison to check whether only this Maxisys Pro is very hot. 
    Or if you buy this tool from the local shop, you can also ask you distributor to further check it for you.

    Don't have a spare. Was hoping someone can shoot a pyrometer at a vci and give me a
    temp reading on a working unit.

    My J2534 is about 90' F running about 5 minutes, did auto scan and live ecu data.  What are you doing and for how long for each, then I can do the same and then we can compare temperatures,
